Roosevelt Investment Strengthens Fixed Income Strategy With New Hire, Products

Roosevelt Investment Group, the New York-based asset manager, has hired veteran advisor Howard Potter as senior fixed income portfolio manager.

Potter was previously the executive vice president and senior fixed income manager at Capstone Asset Management in Houston and brings over 30 years of industry experience to the role. At Roosevelt, he will be leading a team of seven investment managers. 

His appointment is concurrent with the launch of new fixed income product offerings meant to take advantage of the growing US market for the said asset class. The expanded fixed income offering includes investment-grade portfolios that vary in composition and maturity and are available through the firm's separately managed account program and mutual fund.

Roosevelt manages assets for institutions foundations, endowments and high net worth individuals. It records around $5 billion in assets under management as of 30 June 2011.
